How to organise your event
Once you've decided what kind of event you are going to do, you can either email us at thebigpush@muscular-dystrophy.org for a fundraising pack or download the forms below. It's easy!
1) Complete the Event Registration form and send it to your local Muscular Dystrophy Campaign contact, so that we know about your event. Your local contact's details are printed on the form.

2) Contact your local Muscular Dystrophy Campaign contact who’ll offer help and advice with planning your event, including advice on any safety measures you need to take, and legal considerations.
Call us to order more balloons, stickers and extra sponsor forms. Also send off your Merchandise order form (NB form to come) for your T-Shirt to wear on the day, plus other goodies!

3) Publicise your event by letting the local media know. This will help you to recruit helpers and inform others about the charity’s work. There is a Sample Press Release in the pack to help you, or you can download it below. Write your own version of this and send it to your local papers, radio and TV stations.

4) Hold your event – and have fun!
5) Make sure you collect all your fundraising proceeds from your event and send it to your local Muscular Dystrophy Campaign contact, together with the completed Return Form.
