Come and join The Big Buggy Push

Nurseries across the UK are being encouraged to support
our Big Push Week
fundraising campaign - 15 to 22 September 2007 - by organising a Big Buggy Push around that week. Would you be able to organise a sponsored pram and buggy push, or sponsored wobble, toddle and walk in your area or perhaps know someone who might be interested?

The Big Buggy Push,
designed specifically for nurseries, is being organised to raise much needed funds in the fights against muscle disease. There are more than 60 cruel and devastating muscle wasting conditions that affect over 30,000 people in the UK with some forms greatly reducing life expectancy.

How can I join in? Simply complete and return the registration form

What will I receive? For every child who takes part, we’ll send you a sponsorship form, free balloons, stickers and Big Push ‘transfer strip (wash off tattoos)’.

What happens next? After the event has finished, and you’ve sent us the proceeds, we’ll send you FREE T-shirts for those children who raise over £25. All participating nurseries will be entered into a prize draw with three lucky nurseries winning a visit from a magician.

Who you are helping

Daniel Ball has Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a condition that is diagnosed in early childhood. His mum, Linda, said:
“People sometimes ask me what Daniel
wants to be when he grows up – I just
want him to be able to grow up.”
